Elisany Silva – Tallest Teen Girl in the World

A 14 year-old Elisany Silva is more than 2m tall. Born on September 27, 1995 in Brazil the 6’9” (206 cm) tall teen is still growing.

Elisany has been forced to leave her school because she couldn’t fit in the bus. Elisany is going to start ramp modeling, dressed as a bride.

Google tests streaming search engine

Google has been suggesting the search terms as one types on it’s search box. Now, with a new testing going on, Google might be telling you what you should be looking for rather than searching.

In the video, Rob Ousbey spotted Google’s test of entire search page suggestion. The suggestion, termed ‘streaming’ search refreshes the entire search page as you type. 

The new feature is in line with Google CEO Eric Schmidt’s recent comment in The Wall Street Journal that "… most people don’t want Google to answer their questions, they want Google to tell them what they should be doing next."

People Magazine iPad edition available in App Store

ipad-people-magazine People Magazine iPad edition is now available for free download in the App Store. With the App, one can buy week’s special digital issues for $4 through iTunes.

Current subscribers of the printed edition of People magazine, can access the digital edition for free in their iPad. The digital issue of the magazine includes the full print magazine contents and extra stuffs like celebrity videos, photo galleries, movie trailers, song samples, and breaking news updates.

Earlier, it was reported that the People magazine paparazzi were preventing the release of the iPad edition of the magazine. They were demanding a better pay for their work. It is however not known if their demand was met before the release.

With the release of iPad version of People, other magazines from the publisher like Time, Sports Illustrated, and Fortune are expected to be released in their digital versions soon.




Goodbye Google Wave

Google has decided to pull the plugs off its first social networking offering, Google Wave. Google wave, in its initial days, was told to replace email, or threaten Facebook and Twitter.

Google-Buzz-logo Google should have learnt that, Social Networking is not an as easy as it looks, with problems in Google Buzz previously, and now with Google Wave.

But, there is no denying that, web search is the most closely related service to social networking than any other online services. With multiple pushes, search leadership, and its financial might, one day Google is bound to succeed in this avenue too. Facebook needs a ‘mighty’ competitor too.
